Ecological Management of Bioagressors in Agroecosystems (EMBA)

EMBA (Ecological Management of Bioagressors in Agrosystems)

In the context of the agro-ecological project for France and the Ecophyto II plan, the use of biocontrol agents appears as a promising solution for the sustainable protection of crops. Through the use of natural products against pests and diseases, biocontrol must allow agriculture to limit dependence on pesticides. Thus the “Plant Health and Environment” INRA Department (SPE) has created in 2014 the network entitled “Ecological Management of Bioagressors in Agroecosystems” (EMBA) to structure research, identify scientific projects to develop and promote collaborations with public and private partners. EMBA network presently includes about a hundred researchers from several labs.
